Comprehensive Curriculum
SMC Academy LLC's course follows the AAPC-developed CPC curriculum. Medical Terminology is provided as a review chapter, and anatomy content is embedded within each body system chapter as it applies to ICD-10-CM and CPT coding. This course does not include separate anatomy or medical terminology classes. Anatomy and medical terminology are taught as part of the coding curriculum and are not offered as standalone courses.

We offer two tutoring options that provide supplemental instruction in medical coding concepts and guidelines. Tutoring is available to students from any training program and is not part of an AAPC course or certification program. Tutoring services are supplemental in nature and do not constitute formal coursework, certification, or exam eligibility.
