The Certified Professional Coder (CPC) program offers a comprehensive package that includes everything you need to become a certified coder.

The total cost of the program is $3,700 and includes all the necessary materials and resources. Upon successfully completing the training program and the Practicode Practicum, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate can be submitted to AAPC to remove the “A” from your credential. SMC’s training program is one of the fastest and most efficient ways to begin your career in medical coding.

Already certified? SMC Academy’s medical coding course is a great way to sharpen your skills and stay current in the field. AHIMA and AAPC members can take the course as a refresher and earn continuing education units toward maintaining their certification. It is a practical, self-paced option that fits around your existing schedule and work commitments. Before signing up, just let us know you are interested in the CEU course so we can make sure you are placed in the right one.

We provide assistance with CPC test preparation and also help students in medical coding programs that are not accredited through AAPC.
