What This Program Requires From You

SMC Academy’s programs are self-paced, meaning you can move through the coursework on your own schedule. There are no required login times or live class sessions.

While the coursework itself is self-paced, students are not left to figure things out on their own. Instructor support is available to help answer questions, clarify concepts, and provide general guidance as you progress through the program.

Because this is an online, self-paced program, the level of support a student uses may vary based on individual needs, learning style, and level of engagement.

Students are responsible for managing their own schedule and progress. Many students find success by treating the program like learning a second language, where consistency, practice, and immersion play an important role.

Communication is the student’s responsibility. Instructor support is available upon request, and students are encouraged to reach out when questions arise. SMC Academy does not require scheduled check-ins, allowing students flexibility while maintaining access to support when needed.
